Stevedores/Forklift drivers needed, part time

Kletturskipaafgreiðsla is looking for people with initiative to work part time on our winter time projects.

This offer is aimed at people already having some employment or looking to start a new one - work calendar is flexible and is on call as workload in our speciality is constatly changing. If you´re already working we would be happy to fill in you´re free time. If you´re unemployed you can test youreself with Kletturskip and possibly start working full time later on if workload will allow.

Our work is mainly stevedoring, which means providing services for cruise and cargo ships:

• loading/unloading cargo
• rigging
• operating heavy equipment
• handling customer cargo
• various side project related to our customer´s fields of work

Not mandatory but very welcomed are:

• forklift license and skills
• crane license and skills
• driver´s license (including truck)
• basic English for communication

From all candidates we expect:

• punctuality
• problem solving orientation
• self dicipline
