<p>Ice Explorers is seeking a creative and motivated&nbsp;Social Media Assistant and Content Creator to help us manage our social media accounts and grow our online presence. This is a part-time role with the potential to transition into full-time if the candidate is open to additional responsibilities.</p>
<p><strong>Who We&rsquo;re Looking For:</strong> We&rsquo;re looking for someone with experience in creating and editing reels, photography, and social media strategy, supported by a strong track record in similar roles. Experience in WordPress and website development is a big plus.</p>

Ice Explorers / Ice Cave Guides sérhæfa sig í jöklagöngum og íshellaferðum á Breiðamerkurjökli. En þar fyrir utan erum við með öfluga trukka á 54 tommu dekkjum sem eru færir í flestan sjó. Svo við tökum að okkur hin ýmsu verkefni líka. 

Við höfum starfað síðan 2011. Keyrum daglegu túranna frá Jökulsárlóni. En erum með aðstöðu á Reynivöllum. Sveitabæ ca 10km frá Jökulsárlóni.

Ice Explorers leitar að öflugum og handlögnum starfsmanni til að aðstoða við fjölbreytt verkefni sem tengjast smíðum, viðgerðum á bifreiðum og aðgengisvinnu á jökli.

It is preferred that the applicant can start as soon as possible. We offer free accommodation and lunch for employees. The position can be part-time or full-time, depending on the agreement.

It is a great advantage if the applicant has experience or knowledge in construction, vehicle repairs, and/or glacier work, but we are also open to hiring an individual who is eager to learn and acquire new skills. Knowledge of Icelandic is also a strong advantage.

<p>We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team either year-round, seasonally, or part-time as independent contractors. The position primarily involves guiding glacier walks, super-jeep tours, and ice cave tours based out of J&ouml;kuls&aacute;rl&oacute;n / the Glacier Lagoon.</p>
<h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>D or D1 driver&rsquo;s license</strong>: This is mandatory, as guides are responsible for driving our super-jeeps on all tours.&nbsp;</li>
<li><strong>Hard Ice 1 &amp; 2: </strong>This is mandatory, as guides are responsible for our clients safety on the glacier.&nbsp;</li>
<li><strong>Fluency in English</strong> is essential. Knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Italian is a strong advantage.</li>
<li>We highly value individuals who are organized, responsible and have a strong attention to detail. A service-oriented mindset, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for the outdoors.</li>
