Scientist in Pharmaceutical Development

Oculis is currently hiring a Scientist to work in Oculis‘ development laboratory located in Reykjavik, Iceland. The development laboratory developes processes, formulations and analytical methods for the product portfolio. The Scientist will be responsible for analytical, technical and process development for one or more of Oculis‘ products in development.

Main Responsibilities:

Ophthalmic formulation development

Design and execution of experimental activities related to drug pre-formulation, formulation, and process definition.

Analytical method development.

Technical transfers (analytical and process) to GxP.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Required skills and competencies:

MSc. or Phd. degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related fields, preferably with at least 5 years of experience in either the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
