Software Quality Assurance Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead (7–10+ years) to own and evolve the quality strategy behind our Air Traffic Control systems, where safety, and reliability truly matter.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to shape how quality is built into products from day one, not just tested at the end.

As our Quality Assurance Lead, you will define how quality is engineered, measured, and owned across our product suite. You won’t just run tests, you’ll influence architecture decisions, automation strategy, and team mindset in a safety-critical environment.

Responsibilities

Define and own the QA strategy, policies, and standards in alignment with our business and product objectives.
Evolve our test automation strategy (integration, system, and end-to-end), ensuring it is maintainable, scalable, and integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Lead, support, and mentor the QA team through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, and individual development plans.
Partner with Development, Product, and DevOps to proactively address quality risks and ensure release readiness.
Establish and monitor KPIs and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Evaluate and select modern test tools and frameworks, balancing effectiveness with long-term sustainability.

Professional Requirements

7–10 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering, including proven leadership in a senior role.
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
ISTQB Certified Tester with a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern automation practices.
A security and safety-first mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to coach and mentor a technical team while taking ownership of outcomes.

It is a plus if you have:

Knowledge of Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems.
Experience in safety-critical or regulated environments.
