Planning Staff

PLAY Airlines, a rapidly expanding Icelandic low-cost airline, is actively seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Technical Operations team. We're on the hunt for a team player passionate about the Airbus family who thrives in fast-paced, demanding environments.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in aviation, with at least 1 year in a Planning or Line maintenance position or similar within the aeronautical industry

Aircraft Maintenance Technician Qualification or Aeronautical Engineering Degree or other studies relevant to the maintenance of aircraft

Technical and maintenance practical knowledge of Airbus A320 aircraft

Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Review, verify, and file technical records

Transcribe technical records into the MIS

Generate monthly utilization reports

Monitor utilization and flight schedule against the maintenance forecast

Action deferred maintenance items

Creation, planning, and closing of scheduled and unscheduled work orders

Generate part requests to Materials & Logistics for scheduled and unscheduled work orders

Liaise with contracted line and base maintenance providers
