Planning & Procurement Specialist

Coripharma is looking for a positive and detail-oriented individual to join our planning and procurement team. This role involves managing packaging plans and be responsible for procurement of in-direct materials for the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain packaging plans to align with production timelines and ensure timely product delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials, ensuring that sufficient stock is on hand to meet production needs without causing excess waste.
• Work closely with production, quality control, and supply chain teams to facilitate efficient workflows and address any packaging issues that arise.
• Identify opportunities for streamlining packaging operations and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Managing the end-to-end procurement process for indirect categories, from requisition and sourcing to issuing purchase orders and follow them through to delivery.
• Negotiating favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as production, laboratory, and finance department to understand their procurement needs and priorities. Communicating effectively with suppliers to convey requirements and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor´s degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement or a related field or experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fluent English written and verbal, Icelandic is a plus.
