We are now looking for a creative Marketing Manager with strong editorial and content creation skills to lead Key to Iceland's marketing efforts.
The job and team
In this role, you will develop and execute all marketing activities, ensuring they align with short-term and long-term goals, including customer acquisition targets. You will focus primarily on digital media, search engine optimization (SEO), and using artificial intelligence in the travel industry. You will work closely with our content and CRM teams and external media and creative agencies, and you will identify new opportunities for growth and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for both digital and traditional media with measurable objectives.

Set campaign KPIs:s, conduct after-action reviews, and share learnings

Support and collaborate with our content team to produce diverse content for newsletters, websites, blogs, and social media

Manage search engine optimization (SEO) and create content that maximizes visibility in search engines

Explore new ways to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) in booking processes, service offerings, and marketing content

Collaborate with other employees, teams, and partners in developing marketing materials and promotional campaigns
About you
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have:

+3 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge of the latest trends in digital marketing and artificial intelligence

Experience in offline and online media planning & buying

Experience in (digital) marketing and content creation work

Strong social media, newsletter marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) knowledge

Excellent writing skills for informative and engaging content, with strong proficiency in Icelandic and English.

Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong organizational skills and a results-driven mindset.

Experience in data analysis and using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other marketing tools.
To thrive in this role, you are not afraid to take initiative and act on opportunities and potential to improve. Furthermore, you have a growth mindset, extensive experience in a digital environment, and data-driven decision-making.
It's a plus if you have previous experience working in an organization within the travel industry, understanding developments in booking systems and how technologies like AI are transforming consumer travel habits. Also, knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) and the ability to integrate them into work processes and marketing efforts.
