

Local IT Support in Kópavogur
Are you a sharp and service minded IT problem solver with broad technical skills? If so, then you might be our new IT supporter who will act as a superhero for our colleagues at the head office in Kópavogur.
In Group IT, you will be part of COWI's IT onsite support team. Group IT delivers global IT solutions that create the basis for innovation and productivity in COWI's business. We count around 145 IT specialists in 11 countries, primarily in Scandinavia and Lithuania.
We are looking for an IT supporter for our onsite support team in Kópavogur, which currently consists of four people. You will report to the department's Head of Discipline, but your daily focal point will be to support around 260 colleagues in Iceland.
FLAIR FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND PROBLEM SOLVING
You have a relevant IT background. Certification in ITIL and a few years of experience are an advantage.
Your primary tasks will be:

Registration of all inquiries in English in our ServiceDesk system (ServiceNow)

Help with installing, setting up and deploying PCs for users in Iceland

Problem solving, equipment testing and configuration

Purchasing, provisioning and error handling of computers, tablets and mobile phones

Preparation and maintenance of user manuals and videos
-
Technical support for COWI applications and HW equipment

Support for conference and meeting rooms, printers and other on-site technical equipment.
