Kitchen manager (Asian Cuisine)
We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead and develop the Asian kitchen within our busy restaurant.
Our menu combines a successful pizza operation with a growing Asian food concept. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the Asian kitchen, maintain exceptional standards, and build a strong, efficient team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a professional kitchen.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience preparing authentic Chinese and Asian cuisine in a busy restaurant environment.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen staff, scheduling, training, and daily operations.
- Strong knowledge of wok cooking, authentic preparation techniques, ingredient handling, and consistent recipe execution.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, food cost control, and minimizing waste.
- Excellent understanding of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and organization.
- Strong leadership skills with a positive, professional attitude and attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication is essential.
