

Improvement Specialist w. emphasis on AI (icel. umbótasérfræðingur)
Travel Connect is looking for a talented Improvement Specialist to join our team. If you’re resourceful, have a mind for problem-solving, are highly interested in AI and want to make a difference in a thriving company, then please get in touch!
In this role, you will work cross-functionally supporting all our teams with improvement projects with emphasis on AI.
You will be part of a success-driven and growing environment, reporting to the Chief Improvement Officer. This role is based in our Reykjavík offices, but you will also work in close cooperation with all our brands and sites.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects with emphasis on AI
- Support teams with AI solutions and AI tool adoption
- Share knowledge on best practice between teams
- Manage champion support for AI solutions
- Plan and hold training as well as workshops for AI solutions
- Supporting teams working with improvements
- Following up on improvement opportunities
Required skills & qualifications:
- Continuous improvement experience
- Technical background with ability to understand how AI tools work and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to quickly understand and learn how to use software solutions
- Success leading cross functional projects
- Workshop and training experience
- Education in a related field is desirable
- Collaborative team spirit and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in close cooperation with others
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
