HR Specialist
Join our team in Iceland as a Human Resources Specialist and be at the forefront of driving key HR functions. You'll manage recruitment, employee relations, and compliance, while supporting payroll processing, policy development, compensation planning, performance reviews, and specialist projects.

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, interviews, and onboarding.

Maintain and update employee records in SharePoint and BambooHR.

Prepare and review monthly payroll data to ensure accurate processing.

Serve as the primary point of contact for EOR partner and recruitment agencies.

Ensure compliance with Icelandic labour laws and HR best practices.

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and organizational structures.

Assist in designing and executing training and onboarding programs.

Support compensation planning, ensuring competitive remunerations packages.

Address employee queries and provide HR support in a professional and timely manner.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

3 + years of experience in a similar HR position.

Proficiency in English required, fluency in Icelandic preferred.

Experience with BambooHR or other HRIS systems (H3 system experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of Icelandic labour laws, payroll processing, and HR compliance.

Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, (international recruitment experience preferred).
