

HR Administrator - Temporary position

As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital part in supporting Local HR at Marel Iceland, providing responsive, accurate and confidential administrative functions.
The role of HR Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for employee enquires and is responsible for receiving, routing, resolving, and properly closing all inquiries in an accurate and timely manner.
This is a temporary position offering a contract for approx. 12 months, and will preferably start in December 2023.
In this role, your main tasks will be to:
- Provide general documentation and all administration support, as required
- Responsible for providing a positive customer experience by responding to inquiries by taking accountability for logging, processing, and managing each inquiry to conclusion
- Execute and assist with HR cycle processes. Support process improvement projects by helping to identify recurring issues, problematic trends, and recommending changes in procedures.
- Maintain employee records in Workday HR system.
- Maintain HR processes and content on company’s HR website and team’s knowledgebase on SharePoint.
- Provide internal and external reports
- Assist with organizing any HR events
- Assist with organizing and supervising employees’ training
- Special HR projects as assigned

Requirements:
In order to be successful in this exciting position, you need to recognize yourself in the following profile.
You:
- Have a university degree or equivalent experience, preferably in HR
- Have excellent organizational, communication and networking skills
- Have excellent skills in written and verbal English, as well as Icelandic
- Have a strong Microsoft Office skills; Outlook, Word and Excel
- Are a team player
- Are pro-active and structured
- Are detail focused and accurate
- Manage time effectively while multi-tasking in a high-volume, deadline-oriented, and fast paced environment
