Housekeeping (summer/part-time)

ALVA Hotels is seeking reliable and motivated Housekeepers to join our team at Candlewood Suites by IHG in 105 Reykjavík.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning guest rooms, studio suites, public areas, and staff facilities
• Restocking and organizing housekeeping carts
• Managing linen supplies and storage areas
• Working closely with the Front Desk team to resolve guest requests and inquiries
• Assisting with other housekeeping-related duties as required

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required!
• Professional references are required and will be checked
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail
• Positive attitude
• Reliable, respectful, and professional work ethic
• Ability to communicate in English

We offer both full-time positions for the summer season, with the possibility of extension, as well as part-time position on an as-needed basis.
