Our talented and passionate in-house marketing team covers paid marketing, social media, design, and influencer partnerships. However, we understand you might want to bring in specialized talent to fill any gaps. You will report directly to our CEO and work closely with our head of growth and revenue.
Within one month, you will have:
- Gained a deep understanding of Smitten’s brand, users, and product
- Reviewed current marketing strategies, campaigns, and team dynamics
- Evaluated Smitten’s presence in the Scandic markets and identified opportunities for immediate impact
- Provided recommendations for optimizing ongoing campaigns, to enhance user engagement and retention
- Become familiarized to the metrics we measure for brand awareness, retention, WAU, and acquisition KPIs
Within three months, you will have:
- Developed and started executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for user acquisition and brand building, tailored to Smitten’s vision and target demographics
- Positioned Smitten as a unique and recognizable brand in the Nordic markets, with a clear roadmap for expansion into new regions
- Conducted market research to analyze new potential markets
- Created a content strategy that resonates with target audiences
- Assessed and refined the current marketing team structure, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet goals
- Identified key metrics to track marketing success, including new frameworks for retention, awareness, and acquisition
Within a year, you will have:
- Successfully expanded Smitten into a new major market, with measurable growth in users, retention, and brand presence
- Launched high-impact marketing campaigns that significantly boost WAU, retention, and user acquisition
- Built a scalable marketing team, selecting high-performing talent and fostering a culture of creativity and data-driven decisions
- Established Smitten as a leading brand in the dating space
- Optimized marketing spend to maximize efficiency, reducing CAC while driving long-term growth
- Provided consistent, actionable insights that shape the future of Smitten’s product and growth strategy
Skills & relevant experience

- Taking a consumer app to market
- Working with data to support decisions and a way forward
- Budgeting and financial skills
- A deep understanding and experience in marketing and branding
