In this key role, you will lead our culinary team and be instrumental in creating exceptional dining experiences that elevate our guests' stay.

  • Develop innovative and seasonal menus that showcase the best of Icelandic cuisine.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and kitchen hygiene.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
  • Previous experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment in Iceland.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent certification is a must.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Creativity and passion for exploring new flavors and culinary techniques.
  • Knowledge of Icelandic cuisine and a commitment to using locally sourced ingredients.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
