Game Master

CCP is looking for an enthusiastic and customer service oriented individual to work as a Game Master for the popular game EVE Online!

The position is based in our Reykjavík studio where you will be working with our talented team of Game Masters. As a Game Master your primary responsibility will be to communicate with EVE Online players, resolving their issues and inquiries via our support system. You will also be tasked with monitoring the status of the various services that make up the EVE Online universe to ensure their smooth running. This position is an excellent opportunity for those who want to advance their careers in customer service or potentially within other game development related fields.

Your tasks:

  • Investigate and resolve Gameplay and Billing support tickets based on our procedures and to the satisfaction of the players
  • Enforce and uphold rules and policies, such as the Terms of Service and EULA, to ensure a fair and even playing ground
  • Communicate with the Game Development teams, bringing any new or common issues and trends to their attention
  • Staying up to date with the latest marketing offers and initiatives
  • Use inhouse and third party tools to identify, prevent and deal with fraud and botting in EVE Online
  • Other tasks as they come up

Your profile:

  • A strong interest in video games
  • A solid operating knowledge of computers
  • Good knowledge of our flagship product, EVE Online
  • Recent customer service experience is a strong plus
  • Experience with Billing related tools like Global Collect, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, and others is a plus
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) is a plus
  • A resident of Iceland is a requirement
