Front Desk Receptionist (summer job)
ION Adventure hotel is a 4 star globally acclaimed property located in Nesjavellir which is about 40 minutes away from Reykjavik. Popularly known for sustainable and eco friendly practices, we offer services that have put us on the map with hospitality giants such as Design Hotels and Marriott to name a few.
We are looking for reliable individuals to join our dynamic team, who has a level of experience within a similar environment.
Position is available from the beginning of June till the end of August.
Full time position. Day and night shifts.
Job Requirements:
Well spoken and written English

Valid drivers license B required
Knowledge in Icelandic language is an added advantage
- Providing a warm welcome to the guests, answering questions about the hotel and services where necessary in person or via telephone and email
- Pre-arrival planning and check in / check out using front office systems
- Ability to communicate across all departments confidently and in an efficient manner
- Report any maintenance and security issues as appropriate
- Process payments
- Assist guests with all their requests, queries and challenges in a proactive and responsible manner
