Experienced Waiter / Waitress – Hotel Lak
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented waiter/waitress to join our team at Hotel Laki.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and remains calm and organized during busy service periods.
You will be responsible for breakfast service, à la carte restaurant service, and serving tour groups. The position also includes preparing coffee, serving wine, mixing basic cocktails, and ensuring that every guest receives a professional and welcoming dining experience.
The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. We are looking for someone who is available to join our team for a minimum of six months. Accommodation is available in our staff house for employees relocating to the area.
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Serving breakfast, à la carte guests, and tour groups
- Preparing coffee and espresso-based beverages
- Preparing and serving basic cocktails, beers, spirits, and soft drinks
- Serving wine according to restaurant standards
- Taking orders and operating the POS system
- Setting up and clearing tables before, during, and after service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and bar areas
- Cooperating closely with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service
- Assisting with general restaurant duties when required
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or hotel
- Fluent spoken English is required
- Experience serving groups of 20–30 guests
- Ability to prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages
- Basic knowledge of wine service, cocktails, beers, and spirits
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Previous hotel experience is an advantage
