DSP development Technician (R&D)

Alvotech is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Downstream process (DSP) development technician to support our team. As an DSP development technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our DSP development operations. You’ll be part of the DSP development team, ensuring that our department runs smoothly by managing key supporting activities.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Maintain lab organization and tidiness
Preparation of buffers/solutions
Lab inventory of resins, columns, freezers, cold room and storage shelves
Calibration of pH and conductivity meters, according to schedule.
Supporting activities for process development for biosimilars; sample preparation, sample aliquoting, printing out labels etc.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

A bachelor's or technical degree within biotechnology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering or related fields is desirable but not a requirement.
No prior experience is required, though any previous laboratory experience is a plus.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate fluently.
Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with good adaptability and positive attitude.
