Data Specialist - Powerplant

Icelandair Technical Engineering is seeking a Powerplant Data Specialist. The individual will be an integral part of the Powerplant Team and be responsible for all engine/apu logbooks whether its accepting, maintaining or redelivering the logbooks. The individual will provide support to engineers on predefined projects and issuing statements and providing data for 3rd party requests.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with various projects.
Keep Physical and digital engine logbooks up to date and in order.
Setup of electronical logbooks on engine acceptance.
Keep BtB for all LLP's on file.
Issuance of engine statements.
Reviews Engine Data upon acceptance.
Provide engine data on engine redeliveries.
Provides data for engine shops during shop visit preparation.
Updates maintenance system in accordance with engine logbooks.
Provide engine data to OEMs.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in continuing airworthiness management
Great organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Independent, disciplined, and detail-oriented work ethic
Knowledge in Part-M/Part-CAMO EASA regulation.
Strong computer skills; experience and proficiency in the MXI maintenance system.
Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken Icelandic and English.
Strong safety awareness.
