Communication & Branding

We’re looking for a Communications & Branding Specialist to help elevate our brand and amplify our impact across key communication channels. You will manage our online presence and help bring our news and events to life.

This is a 12-month temporary position, and we are looking for someone who is bilingual in Icelandic and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a branding and communications strategy aligned with Carbfix’s mission and goals.
• Manage and enhance our online presence across social media and Carbfix website, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with our brand values.
• Create Engaging Content by writing compelling news, announcements, and event updates that keep our community informed and are aligned with our brand’s voice.
• Support internal and external communication efforts with close collaboration with internal team.
• Strengthen the brand through strategic partnerships.
• Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with partners, advertising agencies and other key stakeholders to maximize the reach and effectiveness of our messaging.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience in branding, marketing, or communications, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging and tailored content for different audiences and platforms.
• Expertise in digital marketing tools (e.g., Business Manager on Meta, Google Analytics, design platforms).
• Passion for storytelling and branding with a drive to create impactful, engaging communications for diverse audiences.
• Able to identify communication opportunities and craft content that speaks to different audience through different channels.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-faced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent proficiency in Icelandic and English.
• Passion for our mission to positively impact climate recovery.

The position is located on site at Carbfix HQ, Reykjavík, Iceland.
