Chef for Restaurant

Sólon Íslandus, a bistro style restaurant in the heart or Reykjavik, is looking for a full time sous chef that has experience in a given position. As a sous chef you will be responsible for taking care of kitchen work on your shifts, your duties will include mise en place, food preparation according to recipes, overseeing and supervising kitchen staff, monitoring and management of supplies, maintaining kitchen equipment, keeping station clean and comply with food safety standards. We are looking for a person with good cooking and leadership skills, that can work under pressure and has problem-solving abilities, good English and experience is a must. We offer 2/2/3 shifts and require punctuality, flexibility and positive attitude.
