Breakfast attendant - Hótel Reykjavík Lights - 50 % position

Hótel Reykjavík Lights is seeking to hire a Breakfast attendants in Reykjavík.

We are looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our team and provide excellent customer service. Breakfast Attendants are responsible for assembling and disassembling breakfast buffets, and ensuring that the buffet remains well-stocked at all times. Breakfast Attendants address all guest questions. Important to be able to start soon.

The work is based on shift arrangement and work hours are between 7:00-11:00 and is for a 50% position

Main tasks and responsibilities

Welcoming and serving guests
Preparing breakfast
Assembling and disassembling breakfast buffet
Clearing tables
Cleaning the kitchen and breakfast area
Receiving and unpacking deliveries
Preparing lunch for staff
Other kitchen related duties

Skills and qualification

Previous guest service and/or restaurant experience an advantage
Able to perform high standards of work
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Professional, positive and polite
Able to work well with others in a team, as well as on their own
Neatness and punctual
Flexibility in work
Good knowledge of English is a requirement

Reykjavik Lights is located at Suðurlandsbraut 12 in Reykjavík and is part of the Keahotels hotel chain. The hotel has 105 rooms, a beautiful bar and a breakfast room.
