Lava Show

Lava Show is an award-winning attraction in Iceland, praised for innovation and educational- and cultural value. We recreate a volcanic eruption by superheating real lava and pouring it into a showroom full of people. An experience with outstanding customer reviews, Lava Show is a must-see attraction for everyone visiting or living in the land of ice and fire. We are operating in two locations, in the small but beautiful town of Vík í Mýrdal on the South Coast (opened in 2018) and in Reykjavík (opened in 2022). The lava show is a unique, exciting and rapidly growing startup in the field of experience and adventure tourism. The company is family founded and is based on the idea that everyone should be able to experience getting up close and personal to real lava in a safe and secure environment. We literally melt real lava up to 1100°C (2000°F) and pour it into a showroom full of people. The experience has received exceptional reviews and multiple innovation awards.
