Icelandair leitar að öflugum aðila í starf flugumsjónarmanns í stjórnstöð Icelandair (OCC).

Um er að ræða tímabundið sumarstarf fyrir sumarið 2026 en vegna þjálfunar er gert ráð fyrir að starfsmaður hefji störf í febrúar.

Flugumsjónarmenn starfa í stjórnstöð Icelandair, Operations Control Center, (OCC). Starf flugumsjónarmanna felst í því að undirbúa hvert flug sem farið er á vegum félagsins, gera flugáætlanir, safna saman veðurupplýsingum ásamt NOTAM upplýsingum og koma þeim til flugmanna fyrir hverja brottför.


Mikil og náin samvinna er við aðrar deildir innan OCC. Þar má nefna Maintenance Control, Daily Crew Operations og Ground Operations.

Unnið er í vaktavinnu, bæði dag- og næturvaktir á 5-5-4 vöktum.

Núverandi starfsstöð OCC er á Keflavíkurflugvelli en á fyrstu mánuðum ársins 2025 mun OCC flytja í nýjar höfuðstöðvar Icelandair í Hafnarfirði.
