Alvotech auglýsir eftir starfsfólki á rannsóknarstofu ARD. Viðkomandi mun gegna mikilvægu hlutverki hjá Alvotech með þátttöku í viðhaldi og þrifum á ARD rannsóknarstofunni. Starfið felur í sér birgðaskoðanir og pantanir á efnum, eftirlit með kvörðun og tækjum, auk flutnings á efni á milli starfsstöðva Alvotech. Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð:

• Framkvæmd reglubundinna þrifa, sannprófana, birgðaskoðana og viðhalds á rannsóknarstofu og búnaði á starfsstöð Alvotech á Lambhagavegi 7.

• Reglubundinn flutningur á efni og sýnum á milli starfsstöðva Alvotech (Sæmundargata 15–19 og Lambhagavegur 7).

• Pöntun á efnum og öðrum hvarfefnum.

• Greiningarstörf og stuðningur við verkefni á rannsóknarstofunni og önnur störf á skrifstofunni.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur:

• Menntun: Stúdentspróf og/eða 1–2 ára reynsla í sambærilegu starfi.

• Tungumálakunnátta: Góð enskukunnátta, bæði í rituðu og talað máli.

• Tæknileg færni: Færni í að nota tölvu og algeng Microsoft-forrit eins og Word og Excel.

• Verkleg færni: Ökuleyfi.

• Persónuleg hæfni: Nákvæmni og vandvirkni í vinnubrögðum.

Overview of role:

A Lab Technician within the ARD department plays a vital part at Alvotech by participating in the upkeep and cleaning of the ARD laboratory. Including stock checks and ordering of chemicals, monitoring calibration and verification of equipment’s, and transfer of material and sometimes people between Alvotech sides. We are looking for an individual who has a positive attitude, is flexible and adaptive and shares our values of team spirit and team efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing routine cleaning, verification, stock checks, and upkeep of laboratory and equipment at the Alvotech side in Lambhagavegur 7.
• Routine transfer of materials and samples between Alvotech sites (Sæmundargata 15-19 and Lambhagavegur 7).
• Ordering of chemicals and other reagents.
• Support activities as well as analytical activities in the laboratory and other activities in the office.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and/or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Drivers license.
• Fluent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and precise work habits.
• Proficient in using a PC and common Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
