Software Developer - POS Solution

We are seeking an enthusiastic Software Developer to join our remote team based in Europe. In this role, you will work on our POS system, a web solution with a fully customizable User Interface that runs in SaaS or on-premises environments. Our POS system is a key component of the LS Central solution, with over 280,000 installations in over 100,000 retail and hospitality locations worldwide.

Develop and maintain the POS solution using TypeScript and modern web development frameworks
Participate in team discussions with openness and honesty
Ensure the delivery of quality software for LS Retail solutions
Share ideas and contribute to the design and programming of the solution
Become an expert in our platforms, technical frameworks, and tools, and contribute to their improvement

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Familiarity with web service communications (HTTP, RESTful, JSON, caching)
Knowledge of relational database systems (SQL, keys/indexing, normalization)
Experience with an OOP language, such as C#
Understanding of SOLID Principles and Design Patterns
Creativity in developing technical solutions while considering trade-offs
Experience with automated testing and development tools is a plus
Excellent communication skills in English
Familiarity with work processes like Scrum is a plus
