Shift Manager

Bus4u Iceland is hiring a Shift Manager.

Bus4u Iceland is looking for an experienced and organized Shift Manager to oversee daily transport operations and coordinate drivers in a fast-paced environment.

📍 Location: Keflavík, Iceland
📅 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) or 5-5-4 rotation (12-hour shifts)
⏰ Working Hours: Depending on shift assignment

Requirements

• Category D driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of management, operations, or supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Good computer skills
• Good English skills
• Icelandic skills are an advantage
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transport operations and shift activities
• Coordinate drivers and vehicle allocation
• Monitor service delivery and schedules
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and business partners
• Handle operational issues and unexpected changes
• Respond to flight delays, schedule changes, and other operational challenges
• Support drivers throughout daily operations
• Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
