Risk Analyst

Key focus areas:

  • Support assurance tracking and management of issues.
  • Support cross section work within Risk.
  • Provide risk advice to the business and operational functions.
  • Enhance standards (framework, methodologies, policies, and procedures) where relevant.
  • Cross functional support.
  • Working from the Icelandic Office, located in Katrínartún 4, Reykjavik.

Key responsibilties

Assurance tracking and issue management support as further defined by the CRO at any given time. Including but not limited to:

  • Keeping internal tools for tracking issues and recomenddations from assurance and testing up to date, assigned, reported and support automation. 
  • Diary management of the actions agreed at relevant committee and decision making bodies – prompting owners to ensure actions are delivered on time or deferments sought where appropriate.
  • Support the maintenance of relevant risk registers, and RCSA´s.
  • Communicate and share understanding with internal stakeholders and broader risk organisation.
  • Support the CRO and the Risk in other activities and responsibilties as needed.

Minimum requirements

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • You are familiar with using SQL to extract and analyse data.
  • Excel & JIRA skills - not required, but beneficial.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Icelandic and English
  • You are highly organized and unafraid to challenge and motivate yourself and others.
