Rapyd is a global leader in Fintech, and our Customer Service Division (CS) is the backbone of our merchant operations.

We're looking for a dedicated and technically-minded POS Terminal Representative to join our team. This is a crucial role where you'll ensure our merchants have seamless, reliable point-of-sale systems, keeping the flow of commerce moving.

Technical Expert: Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of our Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminals, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Provide critical, high-quality technical service and support directly to our valued merchants.
Participate in a scheduled, rotational on-call shift system (outside of standard business hours) to address urgent issues and guarantee uninterrupted service across our network.

A keen interest and experience in technical and electrical matters—you love to figure out how things work and fix them.
Vocational training or a degree in an electrical or technical field is a significant advantage.
Basic, practical knowledge of network infrastructure (e.g., how to connect and troubleshoot devices on a network).
Exceptional positivity, cooperation, and adaptability—you excel at turning a technical challenge into a positive service experience.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and a willingness to commit to a shift and on-call rotation schedule.
Strong professional fluency in both Icelandic and English is required to serve our diverse merchant base.
Bonus Points: Previous experience in the installation or maintenance of shopping/payment systems is a plus.
