Property Assistant / Handyman (Maintenance & Operations Support)

We are looking for a practical, reliable, and hands-on individual to support the day-to-day operation of our hotel.

This is a versatile role where no two days are the same. You will handle small repairs, assist across departments, and ensure the hotel runs smoothly behind the scenes. We are looking for someone who demonstrates accountability and delivers on commitments.

What You’ll Do

• Perform small repairs (painting, sealing, minor fixes, adjustments)
• Support upkeep of guest rooms and public areas
• Assist with deliveries and logistics when needed
• Manage waste handling and recycling areas
• Help maintain the hotel shuttle (maintenance, cleaning, basic checks)
• Occasionally drive the shuttle if required
• Support heavy lifting and setup tasks
• Coordinate small tasks with external contractors when needed
• Handle light administrative tracking (basic logs, checklists)

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on person who enjoys practical work
• Experience in maintenance, carpentry, or similar is a strong advantage
• Problem-solver who works independently
• Reliable, flexible, and service-minded
• Driver’s license required
• Basic English required (Icelandic is a strong advantage)
