Food Truck Positions in Breathtaking Locations

We are looking for energetic and efficient food truck workers to work at our new food trucks in two separate, wonderful nature destinations, Kerið and Fjaðrárgljúfur. The positions are full-time, starting in June.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Present menus in a friendly manner, take and serve orders accurately and efficiently.
• Food preparation and cooking according to recipes and quality standards, managing inventory and stock, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle payments (cash and electronic).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and work area, including occasional cleaning and maintenance tasks outside the truck.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce restaurant standards to guarantee a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive atmosphere.
• Assist in training new staff members.

Skills and requirements

• Valid hygiene pass (food safety certification)
• Valid driver's license (B1)
• Experience in food service is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Dependable and proactive with a decent taste palette and visual eye to ensure up to quality dishes
