Director HR - Software & Digital

As Director of Human Resources – Software & Digital (S&D) you will report to the Senior HR Director and you´ll be a key member of the Software & Digital Management Team. This role provides strategic HR leadership for the global S&D organization and plays a critical role in shaping and executing the HR strategy in close partnership with business leaders.

You will lead HR strategy and operations across the global S&D organization and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. This role has no direct reports, but you will still be working closely with regional and global HR colleagues, you will ensure strong alignment with enterprise-wide HR strategies while addressing the specific needs of a highly specialized, technology-driven organization.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and execute the global HR strategy for the Software & Digital (S&D) organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise HR priorities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, and employee relations
  • Hold global responsibility for employees across S&D locations, ensuring consistent, high-quality HR service delivery
  • Lead, develop, and coach HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and HR administrative staff, with a strong focus on capability building, succession readiness, and performance
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, development, mobility, and exits
  • Drive workforce and human resource planning by identifying capability and talent gaps and implementing targeted development and succession programs
  • Lead core HR programs such as performance management, compensation and incentive planning, talent reviews, and employee development initiatives
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, governance, and compliance standards, including employment law, works council collaboration, and complex employee relations cases in partnership with Legal
  • Leverage HR analytics, reporting, and HR systems to support executive decision-making and ensure effective use of the global HRIT landscape

About You

This role requires a strategic and people-focused HR leader with strong business acumen and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, global, and fast-moving environment. The successful candidate brings deep HR expertise, proven leadership experience, and the credibility to partner with senior stakeholders across cultures and geographies.

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience in an international and comparable role
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing HR teams, including through periods of change
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, workforce planning, and talent management in global organizations
  • Experience working closely with works councils and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at senior leadership level
  • Analytical and result-driven mindset, with the ability to translate data and insights into practical actions
  • High level of cultural awareness and experience working across countries, functions, and disciplines
  • Experience with HRIT systems (Workday experience is an advantage), with willingness to travel as required
