Chef Position – Hotel Laki

We are looking for a reliable and organized chef to join our team at Hotel Laki.

This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, take responsibility for their section, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The position involves preparing dishes from our menu, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential, as the job can be physically demanding and requires working under time pressure.

Main tasks and responsibilities

– Preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu and established standards
– Working independently during service and managing your own section
– Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
– Ensuring proper organization and preparation (mise en place)
– Following kitchen procedures and food safety standards
– Supporting the team during busy periods and cooperating with colleagues
– Assisting with general kitchen duties when needed

Educational and skill requirements

– Basic culinary skills and experience working in a kitchen
– Ability to work independently and stay organized
– Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
– Punctuality and attention to detail
– Ability to work under pressure and handle busy service
– Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
– Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
