Automation Developer (Anti-Malware) at Varist

Varist is looking for Developers to join the anti-malware automation team, which
handles development and maintenance of anti-malware products and automation. We help each other out and focus on combined efforts and teamwork.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust automation pipelines to store, organize, and process large datasets, supporting downstream applications, including machine learning workflows 

  • Develop and maintain efficient automation systems for malware classification, improving performance, scalability, and overall system quality 

  • Contribute to critical system development, focusing on end-to-end lifecycle management, including design, coding, testing, and deployment 

  • Engage with malware and anti-malware technologies, gaining hands-on experience in building and maintaining secure, high-performance systems 

Educational and skill requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 

  • Proficient in English, verbal and written 

Technical Skills and Learning Opportunities

  • Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, C, and Bash for building scalable automation solutions

  • Linux Development Environment: Deep familiarity with Linux-based development workflows and tools

  • ​In-House Training Opportunities: Access comprehensive sessions on computer security, exploit development, vulnerability assessment, and reverse engineering  

  • Advanced Tooling: Hands-on expertise with Git, Yara, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kibana, MySQL, and Redis
