Service Consultant for DIY stores in Iceland
Are you motivated by delivering excellent service and building strong relationships? Would you like to take on an exciting role in close collaboration with a Danish administrative team? Then you might be the right candidate for our newly established position as a Service Consultant for DIY stores in the Reykjavik area.
We are looking for a colleague who enjoys meeting new people and thrives on a variety of tasks in an independent role. As a Service Consultant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our customers’ shelves and displays are inviting and well-presented to shoppers. You’ll act as our customers’ extended arm in the stores – an important role where you help ensure high quality and a great customer experience.
This is a permanent position with a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to help developing the company in a growing market, in close collaboration with our Danish administration.
- Daily service and maintenance in DIY stores (stock replenishment, shelf trimming, and display preparation) according to a work plan prepared by the Danish administration
- Carry out store rebuilds and special projects
- Establish close dialogue and cooperation with store staff and suppliers
- Develop the customer portfolio etc., in close cooperation with the Danish office
- You are service-minded, positive, and take initiative
- You enjoy physical work and an independent workday
- You are structured and have a good eye for details
- You are dependable, reliable, and responsible
- You speak English and Icelandic (Danish is a bonus but not required)
- Experience from a DIY store or retail environment is an advantage
- A valid driver’s license (category B)
- Permanent full-time position (37 hours/week)
