
Hefring Marine
Hefring Marine is an Icelandic marine software company based in Reykjavík. Our flagship product, IMAS, is an AI-driven vessel navigation aid and monitoring system that enhances safety, fuel efficiency and vessel sustainability. The system provides operators of small vessels and boats with real-time decision support to optimize safety, fuel efficiency and sustainability, while collecting and transmitting all vessel data to the IMAS Console cloud for monitoring and analysis, alerts and reporting. IMAS also has potential applications in the fast growing space for unmanned and autonomous systems. We currently have customers internationally in rescue, defense, law enforcement, crew transfer, fisheries, pilotage, tourism, and leisure.

Hardware and Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a technically minded and detail-oriented Hardware and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth preparation, assembly, and shipment of our marine technology products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including configuring hardware, preparing orders for our customers, hardware testing, and communication with vendors.
Your tasks
- Assemble and test hardware components
- Prepare shipments
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers
- Support the team with various hardware and logistics tasks
Your Profile
- A keen interest in technology and hardware systems
- Basic technical skills and familiarity with hardware assembly (experience with soldering is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions
- Programming skills are a plus but not required
- Any experience with maritime technology is a plus
