Job description:

Accounts Payable Operations: You help bring structure and reliability to invoice and payment processing, ensuring they are handled on time and with accuracy.

Closing Support: You contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by maintaining accurate Accounts Payable and accruals.

Collaboration: You work closely with Procurement, Logistics, and VAT teams to support smooth processes and compliant documentation.

Process Improvement: You contribute ideas and solutions to make our Accounts Payable processes more efficient and future-ready.

Compliance & Accuracy: You help enhance compliance, accuracy, and control in Accounts Payable processes.

Subsidiary Support: You support our Icelandic entities in accounting operations, including areas such as inventory management.

Stakeholder Management: You build strong working relationships with colleagues and external partners to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Requirements:

Education & Qualification: You hold a degree in accounting or a related field; a professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.

Experience: You have 2-4 years of accounting experience with solid AP expertise in an international environment.

Technical Skills: You are familiar with purchase order management and three-way match (or similar) controls.

ERP Knowledge: You have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or a similar ERP system.

Collaboration: You are a strong communicator in Icelandic and English with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work across functions and with external partners.

Mindset: You are proactive, adaptable, and enjoy taking ownership.

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
