About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive Sales Coordinator to keep our commercial activities running smoothly and help our sales team succeed. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our sales and business development administrative efforts, managing day-to-day admin tasks, coordinating marketing activities, and supporting our participation in industry events and trade shows. You’ll make sure our pipeline stays healthy, our CRM is up to date, and our sales team has everything they need to focus on building relationships and delivering on customer needs.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist in clean up, maintenance, and enforcement of proper usage of CRM tool and
    ensure data accuracy and integrity within all internal systems.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, contracts, and other sales materials.
  • Support lead-generation activities and assist with outreach-related tasks.
  • Work closely with the sales and finance teams to provide oversight and execution of 
    daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including pipeline management, sales analysis,
    win/loss analysis, and sales metrics.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the sales team’s administrative needs, ensuring 
    they’re equipped with the right materials and information.
  • Support marketing administration and related tasks to help drive brand awareness 
    and lead generation.
  • Organize the company’s participation in industry events and trade shows, including 
    travel planning, logistics, and booth preparation.
  • Attend events and trade shows when needed, acting as a supportive company 
    representative.
  • Join client meetings to provide support and follow-up on next steps.
  • Coordinate smooth workflows between sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Handle contract administration, document management, and follow-ups to keep 
    customer engagements on track.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and keep commercial operations efficient and 
    organized.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing,
    Communications, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in sales support, business development administration, or marketing coordination. International experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (knowledge of Hubspot is advantageous).
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others to succeed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Icelandic.
  • Comfortable occasionally traveling for meetings, events, or trade shows.
  • Able to work primarily from our Reykjavík office.
  • Brings a mindset that is proactive, innovative, sensible, and driven, showing initiative, fresh thinking, and practical focus in everyday work.
