Rental Agent / Shuttle Driver (Day shift or night shift)

Rental Agent Duties

• Deliver and receive rental cars in a timely and professional manner.

• Greet and assist customers with their reservations and questions.

• Promote and sell additional services, such as insurance options and rental extras.

• Handle phone calls and emails from customers and partners.

• Perform general administrative duties related to vehicle rental operations.

• Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes with accurate documentation.

Shuttle Driver Duties

• Safely drive customers to and from designated locations such as the airport.

• Maintain a clean and well-presented shuttle vehicle.

• Conduct regular inspections of the shuttle to ensure it is in top condition.

• Adhere to all company and traffic safety protocols.

• Offer helpful information about local attractions, routes, and travel recommendations.

Customer Interaction

• Deliver excellent service with a friendly and professional attitude.

• Communicate clearly with customers in English and assist with their travel needs.

• Handle difficult situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism.

• Valid driver’s license (Category B) with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience in customer service or rental services is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

• Computer literacy and comfort with digital systems.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and an independent work ethic.

• Knowledge of local traffic regulations and Icelandic routes is a plus.

• Flexibility to work day or night shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule.
