Sem Project Engineer í Airline Services gegnir viðkomandi mikilvægu hlutverki í tæknilegri aðstoð ásamt vinnu við lofthæfistengd mál. Viðkomandi mun vinna náið með Technical Project Manager til að tryggja hnökralausan rekstur, reglufylgni og framúrskarandi þjónustu við viðskiptavini okkar.

Þetta starf hentar einstaklingi með þekkingu á lofthæfi loftfara, greiningu viðhaldsgagna, eftirfylgni reglugerða og notkun tölvuhugbúnaðar.

Helstu verkefni

• Veita tæknilega aðstoð varðandi lofthæfi, greiningu viðhaldsgagna og eftirfylgni reglugerða
• Greina viðhaldsgögn loftfara til að tryggja að þau uppfylli flugöryggisreglur og staðla iðnaðarins
• Nota tölvuhugbúnað tæknisviðs til skilvirkrar gagnastýringar, gagnaöflunar og greiningar
• Vinna við Reliability tengd mál í samvinnu við Reliability teymið
• Vinna við lofthæfitengd mál og bregðast fljótt við fyrirspurnum viðskiptavina
• Koma auga á og leggja til umbætur á ferlum til að auka skilvirkni á tæknilegri þjónustu tæknisviðs

Hæfniskröfur

• Háskólagráða í verkfræði eða tengdu sviði
• Reynsla eða þekking á CAMO starfsemi og flugreglugerðum er kostur
• Sterk greiningarhæfni og lausnamiðuð hugsun
• Framúrskarandi samskiptahæfni og hæfni í mannlegum samskiptum
• Nákvæmni og áhersla á réttar og áreiðanlegar upplýsingar
• Góð enskukunnátta, bæði í rituðu og töluðu máli

Icelandair is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our team. The position belongs to the Airline Services department within Technical Operations at Icelandair.

As a Project Engineer within Airline Services, the individual will play a crucial role in technical support and working on continoued airworthiness management (CAM) matters. The individual will collaborate closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and excellent service delivery to our clients.

This job is intended for an individual who is proficient in aircraft airworthiness, maintenance data analysis, regulatory compliance, and software utilization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for airworthiness, maintenance data analysis, and regulatory compliance
• Analyze aircraft maintenance data to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards
• Utilize CAMO´s software for efficient data management, retrieval, and analysis
• Support with reliability related matters in cooperation with the Reliability team
• Address CAM matters and act on client inquiries promptly
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency in CAM support

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience or knowledge of CAMO activities and aviation regulations is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy
• Good English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
