Operations, sales and customer support

EastWest is looking for a highly organised, adaptable and practical person to join our team in a versatile support role across operations, sales, documentation and customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of a company, understands the importance of structure and clear communication, and is comfortable supporting several departments depending on the needs of the business.

The role will involve helping improve internal organisation, supporting day-to-day operations, assisting with sales-related tasks, and providing backup to the customer service team during busy periods or staff absences.

We are looking for someone who can move naturally between different types of work: from organising information and preparing internal materials, to helping with operational coordination, customer communication and sales support.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Operations and internal support

  • Supporting the Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks.
  • Helping organise and maintain internal information and procedures.
  • Assisting with coordination between office staff, guides and other operational areas.
  • Supporting the preparation of internal documents, checklists and working materials.
  • Helping ensure that information is clear, accessible and up to date.

Sales support

  • Assisting the sales team with enquiries, bookings and follow-ups.
  • Helping prepare quotes, itineraries and customer or partner communications.
  • Supporting private tour requests and other sales-related tasks.
  • Maintaining a professional and friendly standard of communication with customers and partners.

Customer service support

  • Providing support to the customer service team during busy periods.
  • Helping respond to customer enquiries by email or other communication channels.
  • Assisting with booking-related questions, changes and practical information.
  • Providing extra coverage during holidays or staff absences when needed.

General coordination

  • Helping different departments stay aligned and informed.
  • Taking initiative with practical tasks that help the team work more smoothly.
  • Supporting improvements in internal organisation and communication.
  • Adapting to changing priorities during the high season or other busy periods.
Educational and skill requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and reliable.
  • Flexible and comfortable working across several areas.
  • A clear and professional communicator.
  • Able to write well in English.
  • Practical, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Comfortable with office systems, documents and internal procedures.
  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise.
  • Friendly, helpful and team-minded.
  • Interested in tourism and day-to-day operations.

Experience in tourism, operations, sales, administration or customer service would be an advantage, but attitude, reliability and the ability to learn quickly are just as important.
