We are looking for a new part-time staff member to join our team of Northern Lights addicts. A dynamic individual with a passion for Iceland, museum environments, and sharing their knowledge about this amazing country and its most spectacular phenomenon with people from all over the world. The job consists of front desk activities such as ticket sales, booking of northern lights and day trips, museum and shop assistance, plus providing groups with guided tours of our exhibition. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, French is a plus. To start with, we offer a part-time position with flexible working hours.
• Providing our English- and Spanish speaking groups with guided museum tours
• Answering emails and phone calls
• Selling tickets, tours, and souvenirs
• Making and serving coffee, drinks, and other refreshments
• Keeping our work environment tidy and neat
• Providing excellent customer service
• Excellent English and Spanish language capabilities
• Experience as a guide, especially for Northern Lights, is a plus
