HR Business Partner

CCP Games is looking for a people-centric HR Business Partner to join our People Team in our Reykjavík office!

The People Team at CCP Games is an energetic team of dedicated professionals focused on delivering exceptional employee experiences, and making CCP Games a Great Place to Work. Regular Activities:

  • Driving and supporting People initiatives such as regular employee check-ins, surveys like Great Place to Work, learning initiatives, etc.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for general People enquiries related to People policies, i.e., benefits, absences, Icelandic labor law, and employment rights.
  • Ensuring respectful and professional handling of employee issues and workplace concerns.
  • Managing Employee lifecycle tasks such as writing up contracts, assisting with role changes, and ensuring good offboarding experiences.
  • Running smooth people processes, and working closely with managers to ensure best practices.
  • Working with with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers on hiring matters such as defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring excellent relocation, immigration and onboarding processes for new hires.


Your Profile:

You enable others to succeed and bring real-world experience to support people and teams. Known for your problem-solving mindset, you handle both expected and unforeseen challenges with calm and clarity. You’re a trusted partner in guiding decisions, resolving issues, and ensuring people processes reflect company values.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in an international or tech environment.
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Sound knowledge of Icelandic labor laws and regulations.
  • Comfortable using HRIS systems (e.g., HiBob) and basic reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
