Destination Expert

• Respond to inquiries and emails promptly, adhering to the company’s established guidelines.
• Design bespoke travel itineraries and prepare detailed quotations for clients traveling to our destinations.
• Ensure efficient and timely communication with agents at every stage of the planning process.
• Manage financial aspects of each project, including billing, invoicing, and commission-related documentation.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and maintain operational excellence.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new business partners.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Be passionate about travel and delivering exceptional service.
• Prior knowledge and experience in the travel industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excel at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Thrive in a dynamic work environment, with adaptability to handle extended hours during peak travel periods.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Candidates must reside in Iceland, be eligible to work in Iceland, as it is an in-office role.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a similar role is highly preferred. Specifically in customer service or travel-related positions.
• Familiarity with travel logistics, including bookings, hotel coordination, and restaurant reservations.
• Knowledge of Iceland and other Nordic countries tourism industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in handling communication tools and booking systems.
