The Production Planner Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing production processes, ensuring timely production, and maintaining efficient inventory levels. Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Develop production schedules and prioritize workflows to meet production goals and customer demands
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless coordination of activities
Monitor inventory levels and anticipate material requirements to prevent shortages or excess inventory
Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
Communicate production plans, schedules, and changes effectively to relevant stakeholders
Evaluate production capacity and make recommendations for resource allocation and optimization
Proactively identify and address potential production issues to minimize disruptions and downtime
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production planning activities

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Univeristy degree
Experience in production planning and scheduling
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
SAP knowledge is an advantage
