

Senior Training Specialist / Sérfræðingur í þjálfun og gæðamálum
Alvotech is seeking a highly organized and driven individual to join our Quality Operations team as a Training Specialist. This role is responsible for overseeing and developing Alvotech’s training system in compliance with GMP requirements, while supporting managers and employees in training processes. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in training and quality systems within the pharmaceutical industry who wants to make a meaningful impact on employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Alvotech training process, ensuring GMP compliant and effective training system while providing a high level of internal customer service.
• Participates in the governance of Alvotech training system in accordance to Alvotech procedures and cGMP requirements.
• Writes, reviews and approves policies, SOPs and other GMP documents related to training procedure/system or to department owned processes.
• Responsible for training qualified trainers in how to deliver training and creation of associated training material.
• Responsible for training of employees and managers in the training process and creation of associated training material.
• Responsible for training of new training specialists and creation of associated training material.
• Training system Subject Matter Expert and participation in GMP inspections as required.
• Regular monitoring and providing data from training system for metrics and key performance indicators.
• Manages the retention of all training system documentation.
• Co-operation with department managers in development and maintenance of training curricular and maintains an overview of all Alvotech training curricular.
• Participation in other Quality Operations department tasks as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with GMP training systems or quality documentation.
• Detail-oriented with a structured and proactive approach.
• Comfortable presenting and training in both small and large group settings.
